We had a busy day last week assisting students with university early entry applications. It is great to see so many students applying for early entry and additional sessions will be held this term to continue to support students with this process.

Year 11 and 12 HSC Pathways To Success
Yesterday we had InspirationED and Macquarie University visit to discuss preliminary HSC and HSC exam preparation from a senior HSC marker perspective. This was a great session for students to learn how to improve their exam technique and response to questions to receive higher marks.
As part of the presentations with InspirationED & Macquarie University, we have access to premium resources for year 11 students in the following subjects: English (Standard & Advanced), Mathematics (Standard 2 & Advanced), Biology & Business Studies.
They include practice questions and other resources to help you prepare for your exams at the end of the term.

Macquarie University Roads Featuring Girls to Graduates STEMM Roadshow
On the 19th of September we have Macquarie University visiting us for a big day of science with Years 5, 6, 10 and 12. Year 5 students will be immersed in all things space and visit the 7 metre high planetarium, Year 6 will build upon their coding skills with SPIKE robots, Year 10 students will experience a science fair with 8 superstars of science demonstrators and Year 12 biology students will have an immersive experience investigating shark DNA.
Following on from this, there will be a community science nighty held in the Branson Centre from 6pm - 7:30pm, for all ages and will include the planetarium, robotics and genetics along with a science expo. Please register here:
